Multiplication

Hello Families,

We started multiplication today by reading Amanda Bean's Amazing Dream.  Amanda Bean loves counting anything and everything.  In school, she is learning about multiplication.  She knows that multiplication is like adding lots of things quickly, she knows about the multiplication sign and that things can come in groups, or rows, or columns.  Can your child tell you what happens next?

Today, we introduced new vocabulary and practiced representing multiplication as equal groups.
