I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. To start off this week, we talked about goals. Ask your child why they think it is important to set goals.
As a class, we discussed how crucial it is to have strategies in place so we can accomplish our goals. We used the acronym SMART to help us:
Ask your child:
- What goal they set
- How they will know they've achieved the goal
- What will they do to achieve the goal
- Why their goal is important
- When they hope to achieve their goal
