'Owl' Give You a Sneak Peek of our Art

Hello Families,

A couple of weeks ago, we looked at some sketching techniques.




Since then, we have practiced carefully observing and applying our techniques to sketch owls.  We looked at our first owl attempt and asked ourselves, "What can I do to make it even better? " prior to trying attempt 2.





This week, we applied the sketching techniques to our "Owls in the Family" inspired art of the characters, Wol and Weeps.  We even used the thesaurus to find juicier vocabulary words that describe the personality of the owls for the written portion of this activity.  Check out our work next week at Literacy Night!
